Vienna amazes tourists with its splendor: its magnificent palaces, temples and squares are reminiscent of the time when this city, stretching on the banks of the Danube, was the capital of one of the most powerful empires in Europe. Almost every landmark in Vienna is a true architectural treasure, be it St. Stephen's Cathedral, Schönbrunn Palace or the Hundertwasser House. A visit to Vienna cannot be imagined without excursions to its museums (there are over 80 of them in the city), a walk in the Vienna Woods and tasting the famous schnitzel in one of the countless cafes. At the same time, the Austrian capital shows the same hospitality to all tourists, allowing each guest to book a hotel in accordance with their financial capabilities.
The most budgetary accommodation options are hostels: only in them at the height of the summer season you can find an overnight stay in a common room for 13-20 euros per day. In one-star hotels, prices are slightly higher: a single room with a shared bathroom costs 35-37 euros, and if you want to stay in a room with all conveniences, be prepared to pay at least 42-45 euros. It should be borne in mind that in Vienna the cost of living is directly related to the location of the institution: if you compare the prices for hotels on Hotelhunter, it is noticeable that for a standard room, which costs 60 euros on the outskirts of the city, in a hotel on the central street. The ringstasse is asked by all 120.
A distinctive feature of the Austrian capital is the abundance of 4 and 5-star hotels designed for those who do not attach much importance to the cost of accommodation or are ready to pamper themselves at least once a year. Among them are such world-famous giants as Hilton (from 150 euros per day), and the embodiment of pure Viennese chic - Schloss Schonbrunn Grand Suite, where for 1800 euros per day you can live in palace interiors overlooking Schönbrunn Palace. Those who are not satisfied with the minimalism of chain hotels or the imperial luxury can stay at:
- apartments (average € 80-140 per night);
- B&B (from 40-50 to 200 euros depending on location);
- guest houses (average 70-100 euros).
