How do I book a hotel with Hotelhunter?
First of all, the user needs to indicate the city of residence and choose convenient dates for visiting. The site will display the current options. A list of hotels will appear on the screen, next to which the cost of booking for each hotel will be indicated. When you select the appropriate option, the system will redirect you to the booking site with the best price in Warsaw. Further work will take place on it. Typically, customers are redirected to the following portals: Booking, Expedia, Hotels, etc.
What is the difference between a Luxe room and a Suite?
The size of the room is the main difference, the suite will be larger. The layout and decoration will also be different for the luxe and for the suite. On our website you can find a detailed description and photos of all categories of rooms when choosing an accommodation option.
We always try to find the right conditions for our clients. In almost all cases, you can cancel your booking for free one day before check-in time. In addition, there are additional offers that allow you to cancel your booking one hour before the check-in time.
There are situations when customers book rooms for the dates they need with a big discount. In this case, cancellation may be charged and you will have to pay a fine
When the high season in Warsaw starts, the rooms are being "bought up" faster. Hotels tend to tighten conditions to minimize cancellation rates. We recommend that you review the cancellation policy before booking your accommodation during high-demand periods. All information is presented in the section "Cancellation Policy".
Can I book 2 rooms at once?
Only one room can be booked per name. If you need to make a reservation for several rooms, then in this case you will need to indicate in the application the full names of those people who will live there.
Early check-in or late check-out.
If the hotel has low occupancy, "late checkout" is possible. At some hotels in Warsaw, it is free until 14:00. Sometimes for an additional payment of 20-50% of the daily rate. The size of the amount and the possibility of providing a late checkout should be clarified in advance with the administrator.
Early check-in is also possible under similar conditions.
Is the price indicated for one person or for the whole room?
The accommodation cost is indicated for the room as a whole, taking into account the number of people that was indicated during the search. For example, if during the search 3 people were indicated, then its results will display the cost of the whole triple room, if 1 person was indicated, then in the results you will see the price of a single room. Please note that search results do not include additional services (SPA treatments, extra bed, pet, etc.). To order any additional service, it is better to personally contact the hotel and clarify its availability and cost.
What is included in the booking price?
The price for the room includes all the services that are listed on the booking site. To read them, you need to click on the room name. Breakfast and basic taxes are often included. All this is visible when you click on the "Conditions" button. The information will be duplicated upon confirmation of the booking and will come to you by email.
Also, in some cities there is an additional tourist tax, which is, on average, 0.5-1.5 euros per person for each day of stay.
Prices are determined by seasonal demand. But many hotels in Warsaw offer booking discounts in May 2024. To find out about current special offers - use the search on our website, hotels with a discount will be indicated with a special mark in the results.
What is a non-refundable rate?
A non-refundable rate is a rate in which a room is booked at the lowest price, but a prepayment is required, which is not refundable in case of cancellation.
Why is your room rate lower than on the official website of the hotel?
On the official websites of hotels, the base price is most often offered, while in hotel booking systems (Hotels, Agoda, Booking, Expedia, etc.) there are almost always special offers and discounts. And since Hotelhunter finds and compares prices in all hotel booking systems at once, taking into account promotional and discount offers, prices here may be lower than on the official websites of hotels.
Do I need to leave a deposit with an already paid room?
Usually, hotels do not require you to leave a deposit upon check-in, however, in some cases, the hotel administration may "freeze" a certain amount on your credit card, which guarantees damages to the hotel in case the client damages his property or does not pay for additional services. This amount is returned after the checkout.
If you plan to live in an apartment, then you will probably be asked to leave a security deposit - this is a common practice when renting an apartment.
Is it possible to choose a floor?
Many hotels do not give guests a choice of floor. You can indicate your preferences in the booking request, the hotel manager will try to accommodate your preferences. Also, in some hotels in Warsaw it is possible to choose superior rooms located on certain floors - for example: from the 25th to the 30th.
